Our Team
Troy
Troy’s hockey journey began in Ann Arbor, Michigan, playing squirt travel, and it has been a lifelong passion ever since. He played for Western Michigan University from 1983 to 1986, earning his education while skating for the Broncos. After college, Troy took his talents overseas and spent five seasons playing in Munich, Germany.
Over the years, Troy has stayed closely connected to the game, previously coaching youth teams and supporting local hockey development in West Michigan. For him, hockey is more than a sport. It is a source of lifelong friendships, personal growth, and community pride.
Off the ice, Troy is happily married with three children. He enjoys golfing, fishing, gardening, cooking, traveling, and staying up to date on current events. His mission at On Your Game is simple: grow the love of hockey and skating for all ages and skill levels right here in West Michigan.
Matt
Matt is a cornerstone of the On Your Game team, known across West Michigan for his precision, consistency, and unmatched attention to detail. Whether it is skate sharpening, profiling, gear fitting, or repairs, Matt brings a level of care and expertise that players trust season after season.
But it is more than just technical skill. Matt genuinely loves the game, the gear, and the people who play it. He is the kind of guy who lights up talking about blade angles, stick curves, or the latest glove tech, and he is always ready to help players find the perfect fit. His passion is contagious, and his commitment to helping others feel confident on the ice is what makes him such a valued part of our team.
You will often find Matt playing pick-up hockey in the early morning hours, catching up with friends around the rink, or swapping stories with customers between shifts. For him, hockey is more than a sport. It is a community, a lifestyle, and a lifelong love.
Dylan
Dylan’s hockey journey began at age four, skating with GRAHA travel teams before playing varsity for Forest Hills Northern Eastern throughout high school. He joined On Your Game Sports at 16 and has grown with the company ever since. Travus
Travus’ hockey career began at just two years old, when his dad, Troy, built an ice rink in their backyard. What started as a fun family tradition became the foundation for a lifelong love of the game.
In fourth grade, Travus began playing competitive hockey with the Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Foundation, an experience that shaped his development and continued through his senior year of high school.
At On Your Game, Travus greets customers with a friendly smile and a warm welcome, helping everyone get pointed in the right direction. He supports the shop’s social media presence by helping ensure On Your Game stays front and center online with all suppliers. In the store, he is especially focused on getting the perfect skate fit and comfort, and he can lace and tie skates accurately for a secure, game-ready feel.
Outside the pro shop, Travus enjoys weekly hockey with his dad and the On Your Game team. He also works in the maintenance department at Kingma’s Market and is an active partner in a lawn care service. When he is off the clock, you will find him spending time with his big dogs, Shanny and Cheli, golfing, and listening to reggae music.
Arian
Arian brings leadership and passion to everything he does, both on and off the ice. A proud graduate of Davenport University, he captained the Division 2 Men's Ice Hockey team and earned respect for his work ethic, team spirit, and competitive edge.
During the off season, Arian gives back to the game by coaching youth hockey camps, helping the next generation of players build skills and confidence. His calm and encouraging style makes him a favorite among young athletes and parents alike.
Outside the rink, Arian enjoys golfing, fishing, and camping. Whether he is sharpening skates, chatting with customers, or swapping stories at the shop, he brings a grounded and friendly energy that makes everyone feel welcome.
Will
Will brings a winning mindset to both the rink and the business world. A graduate of Davenport University, he earned his MBA while competing on the Division 2 Men's Ice Hockey team, balancing strategy in the classroom with grit on the ice.
Originally from Syracuse, New York, Will is a die hard fan of the New York Rangers and New York Giants. His passion for sports runs deep, whether he is catching a game, talking stats, or teeing off on the golf course. He is all about competition, camaraderie, and helping others find the gear and confidence they need to perform at their best.
At On Your Game, Will combines business savvy with firsthand hockey experience to support players and families with insight, energy, and a genuine love for the sport.
Theo
Theo’s hockey journey began at age two with the Griffins Youth Foundation, sparking a passion that has shaped his life ever since. He went on to play travel hockey with the Rams before spending four years at the AAA level with Fox Motors, where he built the work ethic and competitive drive that carried him forward.
At 17, Theo was drafted by the Kenai River Brown Bears of the NAHL, beginning a junior career that took him across the United States and Canada. He gained invaluable experiences both on and off the ice while competing in top North American leagues, including time with the Omaha Lancers of the USHL and the Cranbrook Bucks of the BCHL. Traveling, meeting people from different backgrounds, and competing at a high level helped shape his perspective far beyond the game.
Theo continued his career at Adrian College, playing NCAA hockey while earning a degree in Entrepreneurial Studies. Graduating in 2026, he developed a passion for business, leadership, and community connection alongside his commitment to athletics.
Now proud to be part of the On Your Game team, Theo is excited to share his knowledge and experiences with players and families throughout West Michigan. Whether he is helping a young player find the right equipment or talking hockey with fellow enthusiasts, he is dedicated to growing the game and helping others enjoy the same opportunities and lifelong lessons hockey has given him.
